Tell me about being a volunteer

As a volunteer, you will first attend a fun, informational training. Then, you will get paired up with a senior and will be visiting them for at least 1 hour/week. This can be done in any day of the week, at almost anytime. At these meet-ups, you will bring smiles and needed companionship to your senior in many different ways, whether it is through art, reading, games, simple conversations, listening to their story, or any of your interests. These small acts of kindness make a big difference to the seniors.
