Volunteer Coordinator

The volunteer coordinator position is very important at Senior Smiles.  The volunteer coordinator supervises between 10 and 20 volunteers in a specified territory.  The coordinator pairs each volunteer with a lonely senior citizen and then accompanies each volunteer to his or her initial visit to the facility.  After the initial meeting, the volunteer coordinator stays in touch with each volunteer on a weekly basis and is responsible for weekly volunteer updates.  Additionally, the volunteer coordinator is responsible for providing help with certain tasks such as training sessions, special events, fundraising, and office maintenance.  Meetings at which the volunteer coordinator's presence is required are held every other Monday evening.  If interested, please contact Senior Smiles to arrange an interview.
